In the last few years of his life, my father and I both noted that we only seemed to see family at weddings and funerals outside of the odd vacation. By focusing on gathering together for a single Saturday, my hope is that more people will be able to catch up, stay connected, and honor my father and other family members that we’ve lost throughout the years.
Each year, on the Saturday closest to my father’s birthday, I want to invite you to come spend time with me and other family members and friends who were close to my dad and myself. There will be no major agenda, activity list, or timeline. This is just a chance for us to get together, reconnect, and spend time with one another. Come and stay all day, drop in for a few minutes and leave, or anything in between.
If you click the button below to RSVP, I’ll send you updates on the event, such as the address of a specific venue once I have secured it. The inaugural Charles Edward Curtis Day will take place in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, August 17th, 2024.
If you can’t make the next one, but want to be notified when subsequent events take place, click the “Notify me” button instead.
In 2025, I’ll arrange for us to meet in New Orleans. If you can’t make it to the 2024 event, but want to be notified when it’s time to RSVP for the 2025 event, please click the button below.
